Gandhi and his assassins

This article by Anil Nauriya was published in Research Gate in 2019. The author cites many historical references to prove that RSS and Hindumahasabha and their ideologue Veer Savarkar, and BJP today, had and have played games to put the blame of partition of India on Mahatma Gandhi when in reality, they were themselves the proponents of the proposition of two nations – Hindu and Muslim – constantly in a state of conflict. Before Godse killed Mahatma Gandhi on 30th January 1948, there were multiple attempts to eliminate him and even Nehru and Maulana Azad were on the hit list. In 1948, Godse was their agent who pulled the trigger. Godse’s account before the trial court paints an inaccurate and incomplete picture of the bigger story. Gandhi’s murder was much more than a matter between him and his assassin. Hence this article is titled “Gandhi and his assassins”.
